IT Sales/Account Manager
Are you a seasoned sales professional with a passion for enterprise IT?
Profound Logic is currently seeking a highly skilled IT Sales/Account Manager with the drive to become a champion for our products and build new client relationships.
This position will be involved in all phases of the sales life-cycle including presentations, proof-of-concept design, and evaluation support. The candidate must have the necessary skills to present a technical solution to a wide variety of audiences from C-level Executives to Programmers.

Requirements:
- Experience selling B2B enterprise IT software. Experience with the IBM i platform a plus.
- Ability to grasp highly technical concepts and clearly communicate those concepts to customers.
- Existing client relationships and track record of generating new business.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

JavaScript Developer
If you love JavaScript and understand it in and out, this exciting opportunity may be for you.We are a small and very successful software company. We modernize legacy applications with our specialized UI platform and make Web 2.0 application development extremely easy for our customers. Our current concentration is in modernizing RPG applications running on the IBM i (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_RPG). If you are familiar with this platform, that's a plus.
You will play a critical role in building out and improving our product, which includes many JavaScript widgets and a browser-based Visual Designer. Although JavaScript is the main skill we are looking for, you must be well rounded in all areas of programming and application development and have an enormous appetite for learning new things.
We will ask you to demonstrate your JavaScript expertise and provide code samples.

Requirements:
- Expert programming experience using advanced JavaScript
- Experience designing and creating software libraries, APIs, and tools
- Hand-code DOM-based, object-oriented JavaScript
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript scope, closure, AJAX, XMLHttpRequest, etc.
- Excellent understanding of JSON format
- Expert knowledge of browser DOM and cross-browser issues
- Clear understanding of the various browser events and event bubbling
- Experience with JavaScript debugging and profiling tools, including Firefox Firebug, IE Developer Tools, and Google Chrome Developer Tools
- Interest in developing innovative, ground-breaking software
- Self-motivated, critical thinker with a strong technical background
- Excellent written/verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to work directly with customers to resolve implementation issues
- Excellent skills at documenting software and APIs
- Exposure to ExtJS a plus
- Experience developing JavaScript plugins on top of existing JavaScript libraries like jQuery, a plus
- Exposure to backend server-side technologies and relational databases a plus
- Should be able to provide code samples to demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript
