Profound Logic Integrates Web Development Tool with WDSc

Profound Logic Software’s latest release of RPG Smart Pages (RPGsp) ties the Web application rapid development tool to WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSc). RPGsp lets RPG developers reuse business logic from legacy applications to build Web-accessible versions. The new version integrates RPGsp’s RPG/HTML/SQL/JavaScript compiler into WDSc’s Page Designer and LPEX editor and lets iSeries developers use WDSc to maintain, compile, test, and launch RPGsp applications. Developers can also embed any RPG logic into an RPG Smart Page, compile and launch the document from WDSc, and be taken directly to the problem area within the code if compile errors occur.
