In 2013, Trimble was concerned about its line of software products on the IBM i platform. Its green-screen interfaces provided limited functionality and slowed down the training of younger employees. Trimble needed to find a way to upgrade their solutions’ front-end capabilities.

When Solutions, Inc. decided it was time to fully modernize their IBM i (AS/400, iSeries) application interfaces, they needed a solution that was easy enough to use to get them up to speed quickly, but robust enough to add the Rich UI functionality their end users expected.
