Profound Logic, the leader in IBM i futurization, today announced that CoderFlow now supports IBM Bob as a participating agent in its autonomous execution platform. CoderFlow is an enterprise agentic coding platform that gives organizations the governance, security, and infrastructure control required to deploy AI-driven development at scale. It runs autonomous agents that compile, test, validate, and fix code entirely within the customer’s environment. The Bob integration arrives alongside IBM Bob’s general availability. 

Through CoderFlow, Bob gains access to the full IBM i development stack: RPG, COBOL, CL, and DDS compilation using native compilers, SQL execution against DB2, CL command execution, Git and source member management, and interactive 5250 green-screen testing. Inside CoderFlow, Bob doesn’t just write code. It compiles, identifies errors, fixes them, and iterates until work is verified and ready for human review.

CoderFlow runs tasks through Claude, Codex, and Gemini simultaneously, with judge agents evaluating outputs and selecting the strongest result. Bob is now part of that pool. IBM i teams can run Bob alongside other models, compare results, and let CoderFlow’s orchestration identify the best outcome without managing the complexity themselves. 

For larger projects, CoderFlow can deploy multiple Bob instances in parallel: several Bobs independently developing solutions, additional Bobs evaluating which approach is strongest, and the cycle continuing until a validated outcome is ready for approval. This level of orchestration is not available in Bob alone.
